Who's Our Favorite John?

Welcome to Week Two of Who's Our Favorite!

Last week, we voted on our favorite Matt. And our winner is...

Matt Damon!

At first, it looked like a tight race among Bomer, Czuchry, and Damon. Maybe it's all those Jason Bourne movie trailers, but Damon pulled away hard with over half the total votes in the end. Congratulations, Matt Damon! Or more accurately congratulations to us for spending our time on something this fabulous.

We'll see Damon in the final round! (Yep, there's going to be a final round. I'm not messing around.) The final round will also include the next several top vote getters, so your favorite Matt might still make the final cut.

This week, we're voting for our favorite John. Let's do this.

John Cusack

Why We Love Him

Because he's perfect and has played the icons of our romantic evolution. (Although in reality, I hear he's kind of a nut job.)

Where We've Seen Him

The 80's wouldn't have been the same without John Cusack. Sixteen Candles, Better Off Dead, Stand By Me, Say Anything, and... The Journey of Natty Gann. I watched the movie on a loop for a straight summer, and I had such a crush on him it's embarrassing. Also he's been in cult favorites like High Fidelity, Being John Malkovich, Grosse Point Blank, and let's not forget his perfect romantic leading man in Serendipity. Oh, John.

Jon Hamm

Why We Love Him

He's like Cary Grant. So suave and classy. Also funny. He also has a few personal problems like Cary Grant did, but who doesn't. Also the man can weeeeerk a suit.

Where We've Seen Him

Mad Men mostly. He was also hilarious and gross in Bridesmaids, perfectly Bostonian in The Town, and he's in my favorite all-time episode of 30 Rock, "The Bubble," where he plays a handsome doctor who's actually terrible at everything but no one ever tells him because he's hot. I watch it when I'm sad, and it always makes everything better.

John Krasinski

Why We Love Him

Such a slow pitch. He's ridiculously likable, funny, adorably cute, then unbelievably hot after a bout with weight-lifting, still in love with his wife, and humble. He. Is. Awesome.

Where We've Seen Him

The Office. Obviously. He had one of my favorite supporting performances ever in It's Complicated as Meryl Streep's son-in-law, he burned through all those 13 Hours movie posters as a ripped military operative, he was almost unrecognizable and perfect alongside Maya Rudolph in Away We Go, aaaaaand he's going to be Jack Ryan in a new TV series coming out next year. ALL THE PARTY EMOJI.

John Legend

Why We Love Him

He's so fly. I mean. A voice like butter and style for days. Plus, he seems to really love his family which shouldn't be an exception in Hollywood but feels that way sometimes.

Where We've Seen Him

Unless you watch The Grammys, you might not see him as often. But he was amazing alongside Common at the Oscars in 2015 performing their song Glory. If you haven't seen it, please watch. Supremely moving. There's a reason Chris Pine cried when it was over.

John Mayer

Why We Love Him

Well, I don't. But a lot of you do. We'll give him a shot. I suppose he's kind of sexy? And obviously incredibly talented. His dating history is something to be desired though. Vote proudly if he's your favorite John.

Where We've Seen Him

Making music, parodied on Saturday Night Live, and on the arm of Taylor's and Katy's and Jennifer's forever.

John Slattery

Why We Love Him

Today's Silver Fox. Holy smokes, he's stupid handsome. I mean look at that picture! What is happening!

Where We've Seen Him

Mad Men. Swagger like swagger has never been done. He also played an oddball political candidate on 30 Rock, is Tony Stark's dad in the various Avenger movies, and has an arc on a season of Veep I haven't gotten to yet and now can't wait.

John Stamos

Why We Love Him

He's Uncle Jesse! The Ageless Wonder! Have mercy, y'all.

Where We've Seen Him

Full House for so long. Fuller House but hopefully not for as long. (Not a fan.) He was great as Dr. Gates in a few seasons of ER, and even though his recent show Grandfathered got canceled, he's joined the cast of Scream Queens. He's done this odd thing of being typecast but in such different shows. An interesting career for Mr. Stamos. Is he your favorite John?

Jon Stewart

Why We Love Him

Because he's Jon Stewart. No matter your politics, you have to give the guy credit for speaking truth into dark situations with humor and awesomeness. He's brilliant and unafraid, and I miss him.

Where We've Seen Him

We used to see him on The Daily Show, but thankfully he made a recent appearance on his friend Stephen Colbert's show to talk about the election. Catch it here.

Voting is closed! Krasinski won.
